Restaurant Bar & Lounge, In-Room breakfast for two. Approximate retail value $1,695.00.

And the total retail value of the prizes is around $2,695.00!!!

Style Watch: Printed Bottoms

Hi everyone!

Throughout the Summer I have noticed so many amazing ladies and gents rocking printed pants and shoes!

I used to be scared of wearing prints on the bottom since I have a "pear-shaped" body, but now I can't resist the cute selection of pieces in stores this season!

Style Tip: I would say, if you are heavier on the bottom just be mindful about the size of the print and not to mention the volume of your garment! For example: opt for a slightly looser skirt and/or straight leg rather than a voluminizing wide-leg trouser to balance out your smaller upper frame...but most importantly don't forget to be confident in what you choose to wear and WORK IT!!!

Loving this trend, it's such a refreshing pop of colour! What is your favourite printed piece in your wardrobe or is this trend not for you???

What I'm into....Music: Quadron

So for the last couple of weeks I have been loving and I mean LOVING this Danish duo "Quadron". They are a beautiful and intelligent pair that mix a lot of soul and R & B music, with some Euro-techno!!! You got to love that match but I will let them speak for themselves and their music:

Courtesy of Youtube.com

In other interviews, they have mentioned how they came up with their band name....The duo mentioned that they are both 1/4 Black since Coco's grandfather is of African-descent and Robin's grandfather is African-American. "Quadroon" as it's spelt in North America is a historical term not used too often and usually individuals are referred to as "bi-racial" and/or "multi-racial".

Another thing I really adore is Robin's style who always has such a gentlemanly and minimalist look with tailored separates!!! Coco, has so many great retro outfits and funky accessories. She is a curvy girl and working every single angle, it's very refreshing in this weight-obsessed media world we live in! Also her wavy hairstyle really suits her face shape:)

For more on this up and coming band check out and "like" their Facebook page!

Also their music was the soundtrack to my dinner party in A Wild Night:)
By the way I am curious about the new music that you are into, leave a comment!!!!!

Happy listening xox

A Wild Night!

Hello my pretties!

Over the weekend I was able to host a few friends over at my place for a dinner party with an animal print theme!!! Nothing like your best buddies coming over to make you clean your home and actually use a pot!

Below is a the inspiration picture:

And the rest are the creative visions of the party:

I thought of using real flowers, but then the maintenance is another thing the hostess has to look after, and we all know there are enough details to worry about already, so I went with the fakes.

The "table-runner" was actually two scarves I bought and artfully taped down on top of a white table cloth to get the same pop(!) as the inspiration photo...also I had a tough time finding an animal print table cloth and didn't think about the fabric store till the day of...

Also I was lucky to have such great candle and candle-holders as well as the plastic martini glasses already at home (thank goodness for the dollar store!!!)

Our buffet table with yummy items including coconut shrimp, vegetable noodles, samosas, seasoned potatoes...

With the "place mats" I actually bought a yard's length of mesh mat material and cut it to use for the dinner.
